According to reports, Quinta Brunson and Anderson .Paak have been cast in the upcoming musical film from Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry. They join the previously announced Tim Meadows, Jaboukie Young-White, Jamilah Rosemond, Jayson Lee, Janelle Monáe, Missy Elliott, Brian Tyree Henry, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Halle Bailey, and recent Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph. 

Tony-award-winning performer John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Shortbus, Rabbit Hole) has joined the producing team as Executive Producer for Paying for It, the live-action movie adaptation of legendary cartoonist Chester Brown’s best-selling graphic novel.

Schmigadoon! star Dove Cameron has joined the upcoming Prime Video thriller series Obsession alongside Avan Jogia. Paul Walter Hauser, actor and wrestler, has joined the upcoming reboot of the comedy classic The Naked Gun. Hauser will star alongside the previously announced Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson in the film, which will hit theaters on July 18, 2025. Hauser will play Captain Ed, a role played by George Kennedy in the original trilogy.
