Second Stage Theater has announced casting for the upcoming world premiere production of 53% OF. The production will feature ANNA CRIVELLI, EDEN MALYN, MARIANNA McCLELLAN, GRACE REX, CATHRYN WAKE, and AYANA WORKMAN.

This May, Gallery Players will present the final musical of its 55th season, a new production of IF/THEN; music by Tom Kitt; book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey; originally produced on Broadway in 2014.

Routledge Press has released Robert W. Schneider and Shannon Agnew’s new book, Fifty Key Stage Musicals, an exploration of fifty musicals whose creation impacted the trajectory of musical theater history.  

Due to technical issues, Westport Country Playhouse has cancelled the first preview performance of the pop/rock musical “Next to Normal” on Tuesday, April 5, and is rescheduling ticket holders into future performances of their choice. Previews will now begin on Wednesday, April 6 through Friday, April 8. Opening night will remain on Saturday, April 9. The production runs through Sunday, April 24.
