IF/THEN Opens May 19 At Gallery Players

This May, Gallery Players will present the final musical of its 55th season, a new production of IF/THEN; music by Tom Kitt; book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey; originally produced on Broadway in 2014.

From the award-winning creators of Next to Normal, this contemporary musical is about living in New York City today and all of the possibilities of tomorrow. If we knew how things could turn out, would we still make the same decisions? Set at the intersection of choice and chance, 38-year-old Elizabeth's life is split into two parallel paths - Beth and Liz. When young women feel that they have to choose between a career or motherhood, director Emily Elizabeth Clark's interpretation of IF/THEN shows the ultimate result of choosing either path. No matter what you decide, you are who you are and some things are beyond your control.

IF/THEN opens Thursday, May 19 and runs for 15 performances through June 5. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00PM, Saturdays at 2:00PM, and Sundays at 3:00PM.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $30 for seniors over 65 and children under 12. Tickets can be purchased online at http://galleryplayers.com.
