The York Theatre Company as part of its 50th Anniversary season celebration, will present a special benefit New York premiere concert performance of the new musical Blue Roses with book adaptation and lyrics by Mimi Turque and music by Nancy Ford, based on The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, for ONE NIGHT ONLY, Monday evening, April 6, 2020 at 7:00 p. m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

At a 'Monday Night at The Lambs,' The Lambs - in conjunction with Harvardwood - held an evening with special guest Anita Gillette. Anita spoke about her long and
varied career in theater, film and television, recalling many personal moments along the way. Interviewed by Foster Hirsch, author of 16 books on theater and film and professor at Brooklyn College, Anita shared many of her experiences from her lengthy and impressive career, which includes 14 Broadway shows. Accompanied by pianist Paul Greenwood, Anita performed several songs to the enthusiastic audience. She spoke about the many people she has worked with, including Lambs' members Irving Berlin and Hal Prince.

With Direction & Choreography by Scott Coulter and Music Direction by Todd Schroeder, the cast features the best of Broadway and Hollywood performers. The York Theatre Company will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood, a song and dance celebration featuring the music and lyrics of the legendary Irving Berlin, with book by Barry Kleinbort (13 Things About Ed Carpolotti) and music direction by David Hancock Turner (York's Desperate Measures), directed and choreographed by four-time Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner (42nd Street, Dames at Sea, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, and Ain't Broadway Grand). Performances begin Friday, April 17, 2020 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2020 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Opening Night is set for Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. Cast and creative team will be announced shortly.

Cabaret couple Paul and Rochelle Chamlin present The Marvelous Mr. Mercer at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 pm, featuring songs by the prolific lyricist, composer, and singer Johnny Mercer. The show is directed by MAC award-winner Teresa Fischer with Tom Hubbard on bass and Daniel Glass on percussion.
