​​​​​​​As a writer for Broadway World, I love watching all types of shows-musicals, plays, concerts, standup comedy...whatever. In fact, I have seen so many shows, sometimes I see different variations of the same show over and over. So, when unique shows come through the state, I want to be there. This was the case for Celtic Angels Ireland. Due to scheduling conflicts, I was afraid I was going to miss it, but things worked out to where not only did I get to see the show, but I was also able to interview a couple of the Angels.

Home for the Holidays with the South Bend Symphony Orchestra combines seasonal favorites, storytelling, and more! Guest conductor Geoffery Larson, renowned Irish-American Baritone Emmett O'Hanlon, Notre Dame Concordia Octet, and Southold Dance Theater unite with the Symphony to create South Bend's favorite holiday performance.

Widely hailed as 'Ireland's most exciting young tenor,' Celtic Thunder star Emmet Cahill has turned heads with audiences throughout North America. Cahill's wide repertoire includes traditional Irish classics, Broadway and movie hits, contemporary and love songs and more. Superstar Irish tenor Emmet Cahill returns to the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center (UDPAC) on Saturday, March 14, for an evening of exciting and emotional Celtic favorites. Sponsored by Casey's of Drexel Hill, the 90-minute performance (plus intermission) also features the accompanying Emerald String Quartet.

The McCallum Theatre presents Celtic Thunder on Friday, November 16, at 8:00pm. The Celtic Thunder X tour is the show's 12th tour of the U.S. and Canada since Celtic Thunder's debut in 2008. The airing of their first Public Television special came that same year and Celtic Thunder has consistently remained one of the most popular musical shows for PBS stations throughout the United States.

Celtic Thunder just made an appearance at New York City's Beacon Theatre. Backed by the amazing Celtic Thunder Band, the singers (Damian McGinty, Ryan Kelly, Michael O'Dwyer, Emmet Cahill & Neil Byrne) deliver new ensemble numbers including 'Sons of Light,' 'Toora, Loora, Lay,' 'The Wild Rover,' 'Right all right,' and 'Castle on the Hill' followed in the second act by nostalgic fun songs like 'Celebration,' 'I'm a Believer,' 'Seasons in the Sun' and 'Rise Again.'
