Love may be real and not science fiction.  But Rogue Machine’s attempt at a first musical is so bubble gum, pop-retro, Flash Gordon-y, it’s almost guaranteed to be a runaway hit.

Rogue Machine is presenting the World Premiere of “COME GET MAGGIE” in Los Angeles beginning tonight. Written by Diane Frolov, with Lyrics by Diane Frolov and Susan Justin, and Music by Susan Justin, this intergalactic, joyously quirky new musical pays homage to all those with the courage to live life as their true selves. The production is directed by Michael Pressman and runs through March 26, 2023.

Jeannine Kaspar will take over the starring role of Karen Lukoff in MsTRIAL at New World Stages beginning January 3, 2020. The role was originally played by Christine Evangelista who is leaving MsTRIAL to return to shooting a?oeThe Walking Dead.a?? Shake and Bake: Love's Labour's Lost, a production of Shakespeare's comedy that serves its audience an eight-course tasting menu as the play unfolds, will play its final performance on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Featuring direction by Dan Swern (The Eleventh Hour) and movement by Victoria Rae Sook (Grease), Shake and Bake: Love's Labour's Lost began performances on October 2, 2018 at a custom-built performance space at 94 Gansevoort Street (across from the Whitney Museum) and officially opened on October 13, 2018 for a limited run through January 6. The Musical Parody, the unauthorized parody of the hit TV show will play its final performance. When FRIENDS ends its successful run, it will have played 17 previews and 213 regular performances.
