BIG BROTHER Leads CBS to Weekly Ratings Win in Viewers

CBS won the week in viewers led by BIG BROTHER with all three weekly broadcasts finishing among the top 10 programs in viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 9. All three BIG BROTHER broadcasts were ranked in the top three in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, and were #1 on their respective nights in key demos. All three shows posted demo growth from their week ago premieres.

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 87 HD cameras and more than 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY (6.15m) was first in adults 25-54 (2.2/08), adults 18-49 (1.8/08), adults 18-34 (1.3/08). Compared to last week's premiere, BIG BROTHER was up +5% in adults 25-54 (from 2.1/08), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/08) and added +270,000 viewers (from 5.88m, +5%).

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in viewers (6.09m), adults 25-54 (2.3/08) and adults 18-49 (1.9/08). Compared to last week's premiere, BIG BROTHER was up +28% in adults 25-54 (from 1.8/07), +19% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/07) and added +720,000 viewers (from 5.37m, +13%).

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY (6.39m) was first in adults 25-54 (2.2/08), adults 18-49 (1.8/08) and adults 18-34 (1.4/08). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER was up +22% in adults 25-54 (from 1.8/07), +29% in adults 18-49 (from 1.4/07), +40% in adults 18-34 (from 1.0/04) and added +1.23 viewers (from 5.16m, +24%).

CANDY CRUSH

The series premiere of CANDY CRUSH (4.05m) was first in adults 18-49 (1.1/04) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.3/04).
