Lane last appeared on Broadway in It's Only A Play. Before that, he was nominated for a Tony for The Nance in 2013. Among his other stage credits are The Addams Family, Waiting for Godot, The Odd Couple, The Producers (which nabbed him both a Tony and a Drama Desk Award), The Man Who Came to Dinner, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (his first Tony in 1996), Love! Valour! Compassion!, Guys and Dolls, Present Laughter and many more. On screen, Lane is known for his role in The Birdcage, the film adaptation of The Producers, his voice work as 'Timon' in The Lion King, and, more recently, his appearances on Modern Family and The Good Wife.
