And a Happy Birthday shout-out to André De Shields, who turns 69 today!

Tony nominee De Shields last appeared on Broadway in Impressionism in 2009. Before that, he starred on the Great White Way in Prymate, The Full Monty, Play On!, Ain't Misbehavin', Stardust, Andre DeShields' Haarlem Nocturne, and, of course, The Wiz. He also choreographed two Bette Midler shows.
