Just minutes before it won the Oscar for Best Original Song, Tony winner Idina Menzel sang the hit "Let It Go" from this year's Best Animated Film FROZEN.

Disney's newest movie musical has earned more than $1 billion worldwide and, in addition to Menzel, features Broadway vets Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana.

The beloved songs were written by the youngest EGOT winner Robert Lopez and his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

Menzel is currently in rehearsal for her return to Broadway in the musical "If/Then."
