THE WIZ LIVE! rocked NBC on December 3rd, but before Shanice Williams and everyone danced and sung their way into America's hearts, NBC released exclusive rehearsal photos of the cast in action before the big night. Check out the behind the scenes photos here.

Emmy Award-winner and Grammy Award nominee Wayne Brady officially took over the coveted role of 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots at the Al HirschfeldTheatre (302 West 45th Street) on November 21, 2015. The show celebrated his opening night yesterday, and BroadwayWorld was there for the special night. Check out more photos from his curtain call here.

Based on the smash hit 2003 film, SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Completely disinterested in academic work, Dewey decides to create his own curriculum, turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. Vineyard Theatre's 2015-2016 season began Wednesday, November 11 at 8pm when the new musical comedy GIGANTIC began previews at The Acorn Theatre @ Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street), where it plays through December 20. Check out photos from the production here!

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents PETER AND THE STARCATCHER now through January 3, 2016 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Based on the novel by Dave Barry andRidley Pearson, the musical play is a wildly theatrical and innovative retelling of how a nameless orphan came to be The Boy Who Never Grew Up. Fiddlehead Theatre Company will continue its groundbreaking 21st season with the enchanting fable Disney's The Little Mermaid for an extended run of nine performances from November 27-December 6, 2015 at The Strand Theatre (543 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA). Paper Mill Playhouse presents this year's holiday show, A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL, based on the popular 1983 film. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL has a book by Joseph Robinette with music and lyrics byBenj Pasek and Justin Paul. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will be directed by Brandon Ivieand choreographed by Mara Newbery Greer. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater through January 3, 2016. Check out the cast taking their bows at press night here.

Manila, Philippines--Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group (ATEG) brings the first international production of the book-to-stage adaptation of Robert James Waller's THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY to Manila. Already buoyed by early rave reviews, the production premiered last Friday, November 20, and will run until Sunday, December 6, at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium (4/F RCBC Plaza, Ayala Ave. cor.
