STAGE TUBE: Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Charlie Williams Help Fialta Celebrate Summer with 'Be Someone' Music Video!

Indie Band Fialta has just released a new music video directed and choreographed by Broadway's Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Charlie Williams and featuring Broadway dancers from Matilda, She Loves Me, Tuck Everlasting, Newsies, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Finding Neverland, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins, and more!

Fialta captures carefree summer friendships and fun in their newest music video for "Be Someone," while also shining a spotlight on up-and-coming Broadway talents.

The song, which premiered on the band's newest album, Shadow of a Drought, on July 15, is the perfect anthem for millennial worries. "The song, lyrically, is about our generation's battle with self doubt, and the tension that exists between our anxieties and dreams. The song is about overcoming worry and just going for it-whatever that looks like for each of us," said Sarah Shotwell, who plays synth bass, keyboards, and sings background vocals for the band.

The song is the perfectly poppy and positive, energy Fialta wanted to capture in the music video. They recruited Andrew Keenan Bolger to direct, and Charlie Williams, who has contributed to the choreography of Peter Pan Live, and the Oscars, to create the video's fresh dance moves. The dancers include Broadway's Jessica Lee Goldyn, Michael Fatica, Chloe Campbell, Alex Rodelico, Halle Morse, Hannah Florence, Matt Meigs, Jonathan Burke who have appeared in Broadway shows like Matilda, She Loves Me, Tuck Everlasting, Newsies, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Finding Neverland, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins and more.

"I wanted this video to be a celebration of all different kinds of relationships-queer and straight," said Andrew Keen-Bolger, a recent star of Broadway's Tuck Everlasting. "I lugged my camera around this summer, capturing my friends' and my daily adventures. I also collaborated with choreographer Charlie Williams to assemble a team of our favorite Broadway performers to create a dance element that complemented the rhythms of the song."

"We were so honored to work with Andrew," added David Provenzano, the singer and guitarist of the band. "He is an amazing talent, and his video and all the people in it captured the fun, light-hearted joy of summer that we were after with this track."
