Radio Station Star 94.1's 'AJ in the Morning' is collecting toys for its annual toy drive to benefit Rady Children's Hospital. Yesterday, Tony Freeman (Zazu) and Marja Harmon (Nala) from THE LION KING Tour stopped by to drop off 144 Lion King stuffed animals, bringing AJ that much closer to his goal of collecting 100,000 toys!

The San Diego engagement of THE LION KING is presented by arrangement with Broadway/San Diego - A Nederlander Presentation at the Civic Theatre through Sunday, November 8. The show plays Tuesday-Sunday. Ticket prices range from $20 to $79. Additionally, Premium Ticket Packages are available for $132.50, which includes a prime seat location, a commemorative souvenir program and an exclusive merchandise item. Orders for groups of 20 or more may be placed by calling (619) 564-3001.

Now in its second sold-out decade in New York, THE LION KING is the winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, eight Drama Desk Awards, six Outer Critics Circle Awards, the New York Drama Critics award for Best Musical, the Evening Standard Award for the Theatrical Event of the Year, two Olivier Awards, a Theatre World Award, the Astaire Award for Outstanding Choreography, two Drama League Awards and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.
