On Monday night, October 1 Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley kicked off this year's Actors Fund "Musical Mondays" series in the Pantages Theatre Lobby.

Doing a mix of solos and duets - they wowed the capacity crowd in a very versatile set.  Highlights included Skinner's tribute to Barbara Cook - the comedic "Here Comes the Ballad," a touching rendition of "No One is Alone," and "Poor Unfortunate Souls."  Ripley thrilled the audience with "Somewhere That's Green," "Broadway Baby," and a stirring rendition of "You Have to be There."  Among their many duets, they topped off an incredible evening with their two signature duets from "Side Show" - "Who Will Love Me as I am" and "I Will Never Leave you."

Next up in the series is Melissa Manchester on November 5 and Sam Harris on December 3.  For more information visit www.ActorsFund.org
