HAM: A Musical Memoir, a new theatrical event based on Sam Harris' book, HAM: Slices of a Life (a collection of stories and essays published by Simon & Schuster) will premiere at Theater 511 at Ars Nova in the New Year. This innovative and exciting hybrid theatrical concept is the culmination of Harris' successful 30 year career as actor, vocalist and, now, author. HAM: A Musical Memoir will play a limited engagement, with preview performances beginning Thursday, January 8, 2015, with an opening night set for Monday, January 12, 2015.

In HAM: A Musical Memoir, Harris hilariously, passionately, and poignantly brings his critically acclaimed book to the stage in a musical memoir based on his colorful life, from Bible-Belt Oklahoma to show biz to fatherhood and everything in between.
HAM: A Musical Memoir will feature Todd Schroeder who also serves as Musical Director, and will be directed by Tony® Award-winner Billy Porter.
HAM is produced by Susan Dietz and Elaine Krause. The performance schedule is Wednesdays - Monday at 8:00PM. Final performances will be on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00PM and 8:00PM.
