Lily Rabe Joins Cast of Bobby Fischer Bio PAWN SACRIFICE

Deadline reports that Broadway vet Lily Rabe has signed on to the cast of Edward Zwick's PAWN SACRIFICE. The actress will join previously announced cast member Tobey Maguire in the biopic of legendary American chess champion Bobby Fischer.

According to the report, Rabe will portray Fischer's sister Joan in the film from Zwick, Maguire and Gail Katz. Steven Knight penned the script.

Rabe can currently be seen on the small screen in FX's American Horror Story and will star in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as Commander Lyme. She starred Rosalind in As You Like It, directed by Daniel Sullivan, in Shakespeare in the Park, and also appeared on Broadway opposite Alan Rickman in Theresa Rebeck's Seminar, and opposite Al Pacino in The Merchant of Venice which garnered her recent Tony nomination.
