Get Greek with the LYSISTRATA JONES reunion!

Short-lived but much loved Broadway cult favorite LYSISTRATA JONES will be celebrated in a special reunion concert at NYC cabaret hotspot 54 Below this December 6 according to a new announcement.

The official description of LYSISTRATA JONES at 54 Below is as follows: "Get ready to GIVE IT UP! as the Trojans of Athens University take over 54 Below. Join Lyssie J, Robin, Lampito, Cleonice, and Myrrhine as they try to motivate the basketball team to win a game. For one night only, several original cast members from LYSISTRATA JONES will reunite to perform music from the Broadway musical.

LYSISTRATA JONES is a modern retelling of the Greek LYSISTRATA and features a score by Lewis Flinn and a Tony-nominated book by Douglas Carter Beane. The Broadway production opened in November 2011 after a successful run Off-Broadway and received a rave review from Ben Brantley at The New York Times.

Starring original cast members: Ato Blankson-Wood, Katie Boren, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, LaVon Fisher-Wilson, Patti Murin, Kat Nejat, Josh Segarra, Libby Servais, LaQuet Sharnell, Charlie Sutton, Jason Tam, Teddy Toye and Jared Zirilli.

Directed by Dan Knechtges. Music directed by Brad Simmons. Produced by Shoshana Feinstein."
