Theater critic Jesse Green (New York Magazine) and theater journalists Michael Musto (Out.com) and Patrick Pacheco (NY1 News) join co-hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins for the annual Spring Season Preview of upcoming Broadway and Off-Broadway productions on an all-new THEATER TALK.

In a raucous edition that acknowledges Hamilton as the current Broadway behemoth, the critics address the new musicals Shuffle Along, Waitress (noting that it's the only musical in decades with a chart-topping hit song), American Psycho ("There's always a spot for a psychosis musical," says Green), Bright Star, Tuck Everlasting, and Disaster! The Musical. Covered as well are plays The Father, Hughie, The Humans, Eclipsed, Blackbird, The Crucible and Long Day's Journey Into Night. The panel also discusses the current revival of Noises Off and next season's production of Hello, Dolly! starring Bette Midler.

The Spring Season 2016 Preview edition premieres in the New York metropolitan area beginning today, Feb. 5 (2016) at 1:30 AM (Saturday morning) on THIRTEEN/PBS. It repeats Sunday 1/31 at 11:30 AM on THIRTEEN/PBS; Saturday 1/30 at 8:30 PM, Sunday 1/31 at 12:30 PM and Monday 2/1 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM on CUNY TV*; and on Monday 2/1 at 5:30 PM on WLIW/21 - a total of 8 times weekly.
