Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel), two-time Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (Violet), Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Erik Altemus (Pippin) and Tony Award winner Lillias White (The Life) are the latest additions to The Actors Fund's one-night-only benefit concert presentation of the holiday classic MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, set for Monday, December 15, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at The Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.).

Sills will star in the title role of Mr. Magoo/Scrooge, with Henry as Bob Crachit, Cuccioli as Marley's Ghost, Altemus as Young Ebenezer Scrooge and White as the Charwoman.

As previously announced, the concert event will also feature Tony Award nominee Jeff Blumenkrantz (A Class Act), John Bolton (A Christmas Story), Jennifer Cody (Shrek), Don Darryl Rivera (Aladdin), Matthew Scott (Sondheim on Sondheim), two-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber (Matilda the Musical) and Betsy Wolfe (Bullets Over Broadway).

MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL is directed by Peter Flynn (Chess and On the 20th Century for The Actors Fund) with musical direction by Grammy and Emmy Award winner John McDaniel and choreography by Marcos Santana.

The evening will also feature the original orchestrations -- heard live for the first time -- with a full orchestra.

Based on the very first prime-time animated holiday special, MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL is being presented on stage for the first time and features an unforgettable score by Funny Girl's songwriting team, composer Jule Styne and lyricist Bob Merrill. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the programs and services of The Actors Fund, the national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment.

MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL is a delightful retelling of the Dickens classic, featuring the comically myopic cartoon character Quincy Magoo. Originally airing in December 1962, "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol" was the first animated holiday special ever produced specifically for television.

MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL is used by permission from Classic Media, LLC and is being presented through the generosity of Dreamworks Animation, Margaret Styne and the estates of Jule Styne and Bob Merrill, with special thanks to Joseph Weiss.

MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL will play at The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.)
