Black Sapphire Productions presents Liz Robertson's Songs From My Trunk, directed by Sarah Ingram and musically directed by Chris Walker.

From the West End to Broadway, Liz Robertson is revered as theatre royalty, a permanent fixture in the glittering world of musical leading ladies. Audiences have been enthralled by her exquisite voice, her
subtlety and taste.

Over the years she's worked with every major musical theatre composer from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim, to Rodgers and Hammerstein and, of course, her late husband Alan Jay Lerner.

But she's now decided to mix things up musically and show people a different side with the premiere of Songs From My Trunk, at the Matcham Room at Hippodrome Casino Sunday April 20 at 6:45pm and 9:00pm.

In it Liz unveils an eclectic collection of songs from Van Morrison's Someone Like You to the Beatles' Here There and Every Where... to God Only Knows by the Beach Boys and Ann Hampton Calloway's Bring Back Romance.

Director Sarah Ingram says, "I am so excited for audiences to hear and see this other side of Liz. This Lady can definitely get down!"

Tickets are £15.00 - £30.00 and can be purchased by calling the box office at 0207 769 8888 or online at
