It's a brand new year and I thought it was about time we caught up with some of the winners from the 2011 BWW:UK Awards.

First on my list was Jodie Jacobs. A petite bundle of energy with incredible rock vocals, she picked up Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her turn as Regina in Rock of Ages. (The show itself was the joint winner of Best New Musical - check out the marquee at the Shaftesbury Theatre, which now displays its award win across the front of house!)

Jodie's actual winner's certificate is not currently in her possession, though, as she explains: "My agent sent it to my parents' house - I've just moved out - and my mum framed it straight away!"

I then pop up the road to the Queens, to meet Scott Garnham, winner of Understudy of the Year for his performance as Enjolras in Les Miserables, and tell him where Jodie's certificate is. "That'll be where mine goes too - straight to my mum, she'll want to frame it!" he laughs.

He's delighted with his award: "You don't think anybody really notices, and then suddenly you get something like this - it's terrific."
