Brian Ganz performs at the Music Center at Strathmore on February 28 as part of the "Extreme Chopin" series, marking one of the final concerts in his quest to perform all of Chopin's works. He will be joined by pianist Alon Goldstein and flutist Julietta Curenton for a program featuring Chopin's rarely heard Sonata No. 1, alongside four beloved mazurkas and collaborative pieces for two pianists. The concert celebrates Chopin's legacy on the eve of his 215th birthday, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience both the vibrant and introspective aspects of his music.
