After graduating college, Elijah James comes home with a plan he has always trusted, only to realize the future he mapped out no longer fits. As he takes a long-term substitute teaching job, the work pulls at something deeper than a paycheck. It also forces him to confront what he has been avoiding: grief, uncertainty, and the question of who he is without a clear next step.
