Ten Grand at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company

Ten Grand is a world premiere play by Princess Grace Award winner Kate Cortesi, directed by Reggie D. White. Set in a Boston-area Goodwill store, employees and customers form quiet alliances, rituals, and rivalries amid donated goods, while one detail-oriented worker navigates a crush, a coworker rivalry, and a manager's demands. When an unexpected item shows up in the donation bin, ordinary workplace drama takes on life-or-death stakes. The play explores discarded people, community care, and how the stories we tell become our destiny.
