Members of The Creative Coalition will meet with the White House's Office of Public Engagement and will be highlighted as America's Champions of Change. The effort is part of President Barack Obama's Winning the Future initiative (whitehouse.gov/champions) to "out-innovate, out-educate and out-build the rest of the world."

The Creative Coalition members Patricia Arquette, Omar Epps, Minnie Driver, Rachael Leigh Cook, along with The Creative Coalition's President Tim Daly and CEO Robin Bronk will participate in a dialogue with the White House tomorrow, Tuesday, July 19th.

The Department of Education and White House Policy Officials will host this dialogue on amplifying best practices learned in the areas of arts and arts education.

Daly commented, "Hollywood is a creative community filled with passionate ideas and we are excited to work with President Obama's administration in his efforts to gather helpful viewpoints from all Americans. I hope our delegation of artists can inspire policymakers to make the arts a topic of priority."

Bronk said, "Rarely before in the history of our country has change been more important, so we are proud to be recognized as a ‘Champion of Change'. By sharing our ideas on the arts and arts education with the Obama administration, we can ensure the next generation of Americans have the same opportunities to express their creativity."

Following the White House event, The Creative Coalition will host a dinner with leading Washington policymakers and opinion leaders to discuss the state of the arts and arts education and how it can be preserved in America's classroom curriculums during the country's economic crisis.
