Lasa ng Imperyo returns to Presentation House Theatre after a successful run at the 2025 PuSh International Performing Arts Festival. This adaptation of Jovanni Sy's A Taste of Empire, translated and performed by Carmela Sison, explores the colonial history behind the Filipino dish rellenong bangus through a live cooking demonstration infused with humor and cultural insights. Directed by Marcus Youssef, the performance is presented in Tagalog with English surtitles, inviting the audience to engage with the rich narrative woven into each ingredient.
