L’adattamento teatrale de The Haunting of Hill House di Shirley Jackson, adattato dalla vincitrice del premio Olivier e BAFTA, la scrittrice Stef Smith, ha annunciato il cast completo in vista della sua prima mondiale. Martin Constantine dirige Jasper Britton (Dr. Montague), Jemma Churchill (Mrs Montague), Sian Howard (Mrs Dudley), Sophie Lenglinger (Theo), Robin Morrissey (Luke) e Clancy Ryan (Eleanor).
Stef Smith ha dichiarato oggi: “Shirley Jackson ha creato una delle storie di case stregate più grandi di sempre, ed è un onore assoluto adattarla per il palcoscenico. Sono entusiasta di questo cast, il cui talento, sensibilità e immaginazione doneranno nuova vita a questi personaggi. La produzione aprirà al Salisbury Playhouse l’11 settembre, proseguirà al Richmond Theatre dal 6 al 10 ottobre prima di iniziare un tour nel Regno Unito che toccherà Theatre Clwyd, Theatre Royal Brighton, Palace Theatre Manchester, Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, Royal Lyceum Theatre, concludendo al Cambridge Arts Theatre il 21 novembre.
