The Canadian premiere of Life of Pi will take place at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre from September 3 to October 6, 2024. This adaptation of Yann Martel’s acclaimed novel, which won multiple Olivier and Tony Awards, tells the story of survival at sea, featuring a young boy stranded on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger and other zoo animals after a shipwreck. The production stars Divesh Subaskaran in his professional debut, alongside a talented cast including Kazeem Tosin Amore, Antony Antunes, and Goldy Notay. Directed by Max Webster, this theatrical experience promises to engage audiences with live storytelling, stunning puppetry, and a captivating journey of resilience.
