Cast and Creative Team Announced For AN IMPROBABLE MUSICAL

Improbable have announced the full cast and creative team for An Improbable Musical, a Royal and Derngate Northampton and Improbable production. Following its critically acclaimed premiere in Northampton this February, An Improbable Musical will open at the Exeter Northcott on 27 September before a limited London run at Hackney Empire from 21 October. It will then tour the UK in spring 2023, including Gulbenkian Theatre (13 – 15 April), with further tour dates to be announced.

Cast Announced for DMITRY at Marylebone Theatre

Marylebone Theatre has announced the cast for their realisation of an unfinished, visionary work by Friedrich Schiller. Dmitry (based on the peerless dramatist’s incomplete play Demetrius), will launch the bold new venue’s inaugural season and will star The Crown’s Tom Byrne (The Crown, Netflix; Twelfth Night, RSC; Black Mirror, Netflix) in the title role. 
Royal & Derngate Announces Made in Northampton Season 2022-2023

James Dacre, the Artistic Director at Royal & Derngate Northampton, has announced the theatre’s new Made in Northampton season, featuring eighteen productions. The programme encompasses plays, musicals, a feature film, On Demand theatre, podcasts and a new interactive digital work.

Today, Nottingham Playhouse announces the full casting for Adrian Scarborough’s adaptation of Alan Bennett’s comic novella The Clothes They Stood Up In. Opening in September, this is the first time the popular story has been told on stage and kicks off the Playhouse’s Autumn season.

Anyone who has walked through Times Square in the past week or so would also attest that the crush of tourists is also starting to feel normal. Box Offices across the country are starting to normalize, though I don’t know anyone wants to go so far as to call them normal quite yet.
