The South African National Dance Trust presents a celebration of dance uniting leading professional companies, emerging artists and internationally acclaimed guest stars. Dutch National Ballet principal dancers Anna Ol and Jan Špunda will perform a neo-classical work by Ernst Meisner and an excerpt from Rudi van Dantzig's Swan Lake. Joining them are Cape Town City Ballet, Joburg Ballet, WGRUV Dance Company, Cape Ballet Africa, Jazzart Dance Theatre, Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy, Waterfront Theatre School and a winner from the South African International Ballet Competition. Performances are accompanied live by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor Brandon Phillips.
