Theater aficionados will be able to enjoy eight one-act plays from the comfort of their homes and pick the one they liked best, thanks to The Theater Project's thirteenth annual Think Fast, a virtual competition.

Be Bold! Productions has revealed the selected works for its 14th Annual LUV Short Play and Musical Festival. The festival centers on love in its many forms and will feature fifteen original short plays presented over three weeks at Players Theatre.

Artists are lucky because at least they have their imaginations to get them through these surreal times. The Players Theatre Short Play & Musical festival is encouraging all mandated shut-in writers to use this unprecedented time to be creative and submit a short play or musical for their 10th annual June Festival - NYC.

We've got a first look at the New York premiere of WE'RE ONLY ALIVE FOR A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME, written and performed byDavid Cale, with music co-written by Matthew Dean Marsh, and directed by Robert Falls. WE'RE ONLY ALIVE… runs through Sunday, July 14 with an official press opening on Thursday, June 27.

There is only one New York City! Outspoken, outrageous and over the top, NYC residents are the perfect subjects for urban drama. The Players Theatre Short Play and Musical Festival and Be Bold! Productions encourage playwrights to take these stories and put them on the stage in the NYC - themed festival each June. Celebrating its 8th year, "Only in New York" opened Thursday, June 7 and runs for three weeks. Each week five original short plays or musicals, by a variety of playwrights (including one high school student) will be presented with a "Best of the Week" production will being selected by audience vote.
