The innovative educational program that launched last year at Hamilton on Broadway will debut in San Francisco on March 22 when 2,200 students and teachers from 18 area Public Schools attend the matinee performance of the musical at SHN Orpheum Theater at 1192 Market Street at 8th Street.

Actor Javier Muñoz, star of Broadway's hit show Hamilton and HIV/AIDS activist, will be recognized with the 2017 Ilka Award, at the Latino Commission on AIDS' Annual Cielo gala to be celebrated Friday, April 28 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Members of the cast of Hamilton and other artists are hosting Rise UP, a night of music and entertainment at Moonlight Studios, on April 3, 2017 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with proceeds going to support the work of the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois.

The musical HAMILTON's very first King George III, three-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James, returns to the role for a limited engagement on Broadway starting April 14, it has been announced by HAMILTON producer Jeffrey Seller. Mr. James created the role of King George when HAMILTON debuted at the Public Theater in 2015.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Brian d'Arcy James will be joining the Broadway company of HAMILTON as King George, the role he originated but never got to play on Broadway due to conflicts with SOMETHING ROTTEN. 

In honor of today's International Women's Day, the ladies of smash hit Hamilton have announced via a Facebook video that they will donate their salaries from tonight's performance to Dress for Success.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the HAMILTON cast album has achieved triple platinum status with over 3 million sales. The album had previously reached double platinum in October of 2016.
