Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser has announced that on Thursday, May 7, the Gershwin Theatre (222 West 51st Street) will be visited by thousands of NYC public school students as the theatre arts and education organization presents its popular program Creating the Magic. Featuring the cast and production crew of the hit long-running Broadway musical WICKED, the 80 minute program will be offered at 10:45am and 1:15pm.

They join a cast which currently includes Caroline Bowman as Elphaba, Kara Lindsay as Glinda, Matt Shingledecker as Fiyero, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible,Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond andRobin De Jesus as Boq. The producers of WICKED announced today that it has broken two all-time North American Touring box office records by grossing $2,864,958 for the eight-performance week-ending March 1, and $3,266,527 for the nine-performance week-ending March 8, during its recent return to Atlanta's Fox Theatre February 18 - March 8. These records were previously set by The Book of Mormon in February 2014, also at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.

WICKED's second national tour, 'The Munchkinland Tour,' flew into the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, February 18 to play a 3-week engagement, marking the show's fourth engagement at the historic Atlanta venue. Not surprisingly, this production did not disappoint.

The company of the Munchkinland tour of Wicked just welcomed Alyssa Fox as Elphaba and Liana Hunt as Nessarose in Greenville, SC. Fox and Hunt join a cast that includes Carrie St. Louis as Glinda, Kristine Zbornik as Madame Morrible and John Davidson as The Wizard.

This multi- talanted lady brings her Broadway experience to entertain and educate at the PRiMA theater in Lancaster Pa. for a concert and masterclass in March.

Joining Hearts, Inc. and Members of the National Touring Company of WICKED will host "Witches' Night Off," an evening of song and dance at the Ferst Center for the Arts of the Georgia Institute of Technology on Monday, March 2nd. The performance will begin at 7:30pm and also include a very special guest performance by Tony and Grammy award winner, Jennifer Holliday. The Ferst Center is located at 349 Ferst Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30332. Net proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and Joining Hearts, Inc.

The National Touring Company of WICKED will host "THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW," a staged concert performance of Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show," at The Fonda Theatre Monday, February 23, at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature the company of WICKED, and net proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Tickets for this event will go on sale to the public on Thursday, January 29th at 10am PT.
