To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Broadway's Record-Breaking hit musical Chicago, Sony Music has released the first ever vinyl edition of the Gold-Certified, Grammy Award-winning 1996 New Broadway Cast Recording.

Disney Channel star Veronica Dunne will make her Broadway debut in the role of Roxie Hart in the long-running musical CHICAGO.

Earlier this week, the company of CHICAGO took their act uptown, to Central Park. To celebrate the musical's 20th Anniversary, fans got to experience the razzle dazzle with a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park. For this momentous day, the cast are taking to the streets, with a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park. Doors open at 7PM and the show begins at 8PM. We were lucky enough to catch up with some of the cast as they made their final preparations for today's show.

Beginning with Gwen Verdon in the original and resuming with Ann Reinking in the revival, some of Broadway's most talented triple-threats have taken on the role of Roxie Hart in Broadway's CHICAGO.

The Broadway company of the Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago will welcome Lana Gordon in the role of Velma Kelly beginning tonight, Monday, August 15 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC).

Takarazuka, Japan's famous all-female musical theater troupe, makes its first appearance in New York in over 25 years with Takarazuka CHICAGO at Lincoln Center Festival July 20-24 only at the David H. Koch Theater, running concurrently with the Tony Award-winning show, with a legendary book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, and now the number one longest-running American musical in Broadway history.    Just yesterday, the cast of Takarazuka CHICAGO was introduced to the cast of New York City's Broadway production by producers Fran and Berry Weissler. The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 14 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, took place just last week in Shubert Alley. Hosted by Tony nominee Sean Hayes and Mo Rocca, Broadway's best once again turned out for the annual performance - including Roz Ryan, who performed 'When You're Good to Mama' from Chicago.
