Birds of a feather flock together, so they say, and in the case of BRIEFS: THE SECOND COMING, that pursuit can involve actual feathers.

If productions could be labelled as over-achievers, then this show would definitely sit right on top of that category for all the best reasons. For two hours, I was gasping for air as I couldn't stop laughing. I feel sorry for the patrons sitting around me, as I'm sure their ears will be ringing for quite some time of my high-pitched laughter. After receiving a large donation from the uncle of a pompous actor Max, The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society return to Brisbane's shores with Peter Pan Goes Wrong and to say that it is hilarious is an understatement.

A zany showcase filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, wild theatrics, arcane errata, and astonishing juggling feats. If you see one group of multi-faceted new-vaudevillians at the apex of their ambidextrous and alliterative ability, see The Flying Karamazov Brothers at the Majestic Theater, Gettysburg, Pa on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 7:30p.m.. They are not your father's wild-haired, juggling, flame-throwing, kilt-and-tutu-wearing performers. We'll be laughing out loud with you! This show is made possible by The J. William Warehime Foundation of the Majestic Theater's Centennial Endowment.

The weekend before Christmas, The Los Angeles Youth Ballet presented a gorgeous, colorful and professional performance of The Nutcracker at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA.
The production was very carefully constructed, with an emphasis on good technique, passion and commitment in performance and lovingly re-created by Artistic Director and Choreographer, Andrea Paris-Gutierrez. It was staged and choreographed optimally for each age group performing. Enchanting might be an adjective to describe the feeling the performers were emitting to the viewers, who's rapt attention was a sign of both enjoyment and endorsement.
The Nutcracker Suite was composed by Peter Ilych Tchaikovsky, and has long been the favorite balletic composition to be performed during the Christmas Season.

Festival Ballet Providence's annual production of THE NUTCRACKER is a highlight of the Christmas season. Although some aspects of the production remain the same from one year to the next, there are always some small changes, and the show is no less affecting upon repeated viewings.

Miami City Ballet has continuously performed The Nutcracker for 28 years. This time around, they have new, exquisite costumes and elaborate sets and graphics, to go along with Tchaikovsky's diverse and timeless Nutcracker Suite score. This particular Nutcracker Ballet, using George Balanchine's choreography, is based upon E.T.A. Hoffman's "The Nutcracker and The Mouse King." Though the story and characters are similar to other versions seen, there are some differences in the plot and characters.

The Goodman Theatre's annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, now in its 41st year, embraces Charles Dickens' world with all of its Victorian charm. And rightly so: after all, Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert, are largely credited with popularizing Christmas traditions in Britain. Between these royals and the legacy of Dickens' beloved tale, nothing says 'Christmas' quite like carolers in top hats and gas lamps glowing in the London fog.

We all know how stressful the holidays can be, especially finding the perfect gift for friends and family. But what about the perfect accoutrement, - that's a fancy word now isn't it - for the top of your Christmas tree? Yes, the tree topper can make or break any holiday celebration and you won't find a better illustration of this fact than Adventure Theatre's super splendid (that's a fancy word for really excellent) production of Fancy Nancy: Splendiferous Christmas. The show boasts a score by Randy Klein (music), Matthew Hardy (lyrics) and Cara Lustik and Matthew Hardy (book).
