On our final day of this year's 30 Days of Tony, let's take a quick flashback to last year's big winner, Dear Evan Hansen!

BroadwayWorld has just learned that the role of Jared in DEAR EVAN HANSEN will be played by Sky Lakota-Lynch. This will be his Broadway debut. Will Roland will play his final performance on June 10th.

Ben Levi Ross will be donning the iconic blue polo as Evan Hansen - direct from the Broadway company - in the Tony Award-winning musical's First National Tour, launching in Denver this October. Ross made his Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen last fall as a cover for Connor, Jared and Evan at The Music Box Theatre.

Alex Boniello has officially joined the cast of Dear Evan Hansen as Connor Murphy! In honor of his first performance last night, a video was released of himself and current Evan Hansen, Taylor Trensch, performing Disappear. Check out the video below!

Mike Faist's final performance in Dear Evan Hansen will be Sunday, May 13. Alex Boniello will join the company as Connor Murphy beginning Today, May 15. Additionally, Will Roland will play his final performance as Jared Kleinman on Sunday, June 10. It has yet to be announced who will take over as Jared.

To a rousing ovation, the cast of the Tony Award®-winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen performed a curtain call tribute in honor of the patriotic song "God Bless America," which this year is celebrating its 100th Anniversary, on the eve of Mr. Berlin's 130th birthday. Dear Evan Hansen is playing on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre which was built by Mr. Berlin and his business partner Sam H. Harris and opened in 1921 to house his famed Music Box Revues.  The Shubert Organization currently owns and operates the Music Box.

To commemorate Mental Health Month this May, the Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen will join forces with TIME and the mental health-conscious beauty brand philosophy for You Will Be Found an exclusive event to highlight contemporary mental health issues on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 3:30 PM, it was announced today. The one-day-only event will take place at Meredith's downtown offices and will feature mental-health-focused conversations and a performance from the cast of Dear Evan Hansen.

Producer Stacey Mindich is pleased to announce that Dear Evan Hansen will continue its partnership with ArtsConnection, NYC's leading arts-in-education organization, for a second year, thanks to the funding of producer and owner of San Francisco's Curran theatre, Carole Shorenstein Hays. Last month, Broadway's new Evan Hansen, Taylor Trensch, officially began his performances in the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen! Trensch took over for Noah Galvin, who most recently played Evan following original star Ben Platt's departure from the show. Dear Evan Hansen is already a mega-hit in New York City, and it is expected to cross the pond for a West End production soon. But who will play the icon title character in London? It will be a British actor, according to the Daily Mail.

It has just been announced that Phoenix Best will be taking over the role of Alana Beck in Dear Evan Hansen beginning Tuesday, March 13. Best replaces original Broadway cast member Kristolyn Lloyd, who plays her final performance on Sunday, March 11.

One of the great characteristics of live theatre is that, as opposed to film and television, no matter how iconic a performance is, no matter how indelibly attached an actor may seem to a role, there will be other actors playing it.

Taylor Trensch's first 'official' performance as Evan in Dear Evan Hansen was Tuesday, February 6, after he performed a few early performances on January 31 at 8 PM, February 1 at 7 PM and February 3 at 2 PM. Trensch took over for Noah Galvin, who replaced Ben Platt last year.
