The cast of IF/THEN recently sat down to talk with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts about everything from their experiences in the show, to their Broadway careers. IF/THEN was a new musical that hinged on Idina Menzel's star power and the amazing ensemble. When it opened on Broadway in 2014 it was one of the most buzzed about new musicals. Now, If/Then is taking that formula on the road in the first national tour, but according to an article published in Denver Centerstage, the tour might not have happened without leading lady Idina Menzel. 

The final four shows of DPAC's 'Broadway Doesn't Get Any Bigger Than This' Season will go on sale this Saturday, September 26 at 10 a.m. The final four shows include Matilda the Musical, Cabaret, 42nd Street and If/Then.

Broadway star LaChanz sang the National Anthem at the Denver Broncos season opener this week in advance of the national tour launch for IF/THEN.

The contemporary new musical IF/THEN, featuring Tony Award-winner and Broadway superstar Idina Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Frozen, Glee), Tony Award-winner LaChanze (The Color Purple, Once on This Island), Anthony Rapp (Rent, Six Degrees of Separation, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown) and James Snyder (Cry-Baby, Rock of Ages) is coming to the SHN Orpheum Theatre November 10-December 6. LaChanze, Mr. Rapp, Mr. Snyder and Ms. Menzel will reprise their critically-acclaimed performances in this highly anticipated musical, which kicks off the 2015-2106 SHN Season. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, Sept. 11 at 10am.

Idina Menzel will perform in Toronto this Wednesday at the Sony Centre as part of her 2015 world tour. Menzel is of course best known for her work in WICKED and FROZEN, and also recently concluded a Broadway run in her star vehicle IF/THEN, which she will take on tour this fall.
