Broadway might be dark, but that doesn't mean that theatre isn't happening everywhere! Below, check out where you can get your daily fix of Broadway this weekend, May 1-2, 2021.

For the 111th Kritzerland show, it's the most wonderful time of the year (at home) and Kritzerland's annual holiday show. 

For the 110th Kritzerland show and the sixth online show, Kritzerland is doing Premieres and Encores - songs that have never been performed in any of the ten years of shows and a few encores of songs done in the live shows.

For the 109th Kritzerland show, roll out the ribbons, throw the confetti, because Kritzerland is celebrating its tenth anniversary.

For the 108th Kritzerland show, it's a tribute to one of the most beloved songwriting teams in Broadway history, Kander and Ebb. The music and lyrics of John Kander and Fred Ebb have been delighting people since their Broadway debut, Flora, the Red Menace, which began their long association with Liza Minnelli.

For the 107th Kritzerland show, Kritzerland stays home once again with another talent-packed song-filled show Kritzerland Influencers. The free benefit show will feature classic theater and film songs, some rarities, and a few songs that might be completely unfamiliar.

For the 106th Kritzerland show, Kritzerland is once again doing the show on Facebook and YouTube Live. For the June show, there's a great cast, it's more ambitious than the May show, and once again any donations would go to the Group Rep Theater in North Hollywood, non-profit 501 (c) (3).

For the 105th Kritzerland show Kritzerland is staying home. Rather than miss the May show, Kritzerland will be doing the show on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday May 3rd at 5:00pm PST/8:00 EST.

The Drama League has announced the twelve stage directors who have been selected as the 2019 Directing Fellows of The Drama League Directors Project: NJ Agwuna, Sharifa Elkady, Raz Golden, Chika Ike, Rebecca Marzalek-Kelly, Ismael Lara, Jr., Amanda McRaven, Lindsey Hope Pearlman, Ben Randle, Tai Thompson, Gabriel Torres, and Sophia Watt. They will be publicly introduced to the professional theatre community during the 85th Annual Drama League Awards, which will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). I've heard of some directors who, as soon as they've taken on a new play, grab a black marker and scratch out every stage direction the playwright wrote into the script, as though the author's only business was to write dialogue and allow each individual stager to create the rest.
