Chicago Shakespeare Theater announced its 40th Anniversary Season, featuring Shakespeare classics in repertory, a bilingual ROMEO Y JULIETA, the return of ILLINOISE, and the world premiere of HEARTBREAKERS.

Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre announced TRAVFEST26, its annual August new writing festival, featuring world premieres including CATHY starring Elaine C. Smith, AFTER PARTY by Morna Young, and SUPPOSING: by Zinnie Harris.

Opera Philadelphia announced its 2026-2027 season, featuring five new productions including works by Mozart, Verdi, and the Gershwins, plus world and Philadelphia premieres of new operas.

“THE SHARK IS BROKEN' will take the stage at the Toledo Repertoire Theatre from April 24 through May 3, 2026. Co-written by Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon, this witty and insightful comedy-drama explores the behind-the-scenes tensions during the filming of the iconic 1975 film Jaws.

Zurich Opera will present Richard Strauss’s Arabella at the Zurich Opera House this spring. The production runs from 14 April to 28 April 2026, offering audiences multiple opportunities to experience one of Strauss’s most celebrated lyrical comedies.

Tanglewood has revealed the details of its 2026 season, opening in late June and continuing to Labor Day weekend. The schedule brings many of the world’s most exciting musicians to the beautiful Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts.
