Boston Children's Chorus has hired Akiba Abaka as Director of Good Trouble, a newly-created position aimed at shaping program offerings and re-committing BCC to being a multicultural, anti-ableist, anti-racist organization for young people in the Greater Boston region.

Theatre and film star Cynthia Erivo took a time out from her busy Wicked filming schedule to share her experiences playing the iconic green girl, Elphaba. 

Produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) and recorded at Cobb’s studio in Savannah, GA, 1988 is named for the year McKenna married her husband, Gene, and serves as a love letter to her family and lifelong friendships. Recorded in just seven days, Thunder Above You marks the most significant creative period in Ida Mae’s career to date.
