Last night, March 2, Bob Fosse’s DANCIN’ returned to Broadway! To commemorate the first performance, the production has released a never-before-seen short film of the musical number, 'Dancin’ Man.' Check out the video here!

In celebration of the birthday of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, the Shirley Chisholm Cultural Institute (SCCI) is launching the first round of the William R. Howard Scholarship on November 30, 2022. The scholarship in the amount of $500 each will be awarded to two young adults between the ages of 18 to 24 in the areas of art, culture, and/or academics.

The exciting performance schedule includes the Tony Award-winning musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder and the Pulitzer Prize-winning labor rights drama, Sweat. The first play, The Baby Monitor, written by Santa Fe resident David Stallings, opens March 4. 

Signature works by master choreographers will highlight New York Theatre Ballet’s Legends & Visionaries program on October 21 and 22 at 7:00 P.M. at Florence Gould Hall in New York City.

Not only an accomplished director and choreographer, McIntyre’s Broadway performance credits include Anything Goes with PATTI LUPONE, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with DONNY OSMOND, and the original company of Once on this Island. 

The Encore's first offering of Season 14 bursts onto The Maas stage September 15 – October 2. AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' will feature direction and choreography by “The Mayor of Broadway” GERRY MCINTYRE, whose energetic choreography was last seen at The Encore in the Season 13 opener, Smokey Joe's Café.

Despite the relentless advance of the modern Marvel franchise, the 1978 film of Superman remains one of the best comic book films ever made. This is, in no small part, due to John Williams' remarkable and iconic score that was nominated for an Academy Award.

The Los Angeles Film Orchestra announces its debut performance, Basil Poledouris: The Music and The Movies at The Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 22 at 8pm PT. The orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Steven Allen Fox, will also be joined by the SoCal Chorale led by Choir Maestra Marya Basaraba.
