The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is proud to announce the most exciting season in the theatre's 166-year history! The Fulton "Engages Life Through Art" through three distinct series serving over 160,000 patrons through diverse programing reflecting the broad make-up of the Lancaster community and greater region of eastern Pennsylvania. Hot on the heels of her UK industry excursion Sarah Morrison has returned and immediately been cast in the new musical COME FROM AWAY. After the success of Sarah's role in Mamma Mia! The Musical it's no surprise Sarah will be treading the boards again. Sarah wowed audiences as Sophie around Australia in Mamma Mia! The Musical in 2018. COME FROM AWAY will give Sarah another opportunity to flex her vocal prowess in this award-winning show. The Broadway hit will open in Melbourne this coming July at the Comedy Theatre and has been hailed as one of the best musicals to come out of America in recent years.

Today, Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans announced that it received nearly one thousand toiletry items in response to the donation drive they hosted for Covenant House, which provides shelter and services to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth ages 16-22. The donation drive was held during the New Orleans engagement of COME FROM AWAY at the Saenger Theatre.

On the transcendent new album Hidden Corners, visionary keyboardist, producer and composer Jamie Saft embarks on a spiritual journey along the searching path unveiled by such iconic forebears as John and Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, and Albert Ayler. Inspired by concepts from Jewish mysticism, the album features an outstanding quartet of deeply exploratory musicians: Saft, longtime collaborator Bradley Jones on bass, the wide-ranging drummer/percussion master Hamid Drake, and legendary saxophonist David Liebman.

Celebrating 2019 as the Year of Chicago Theatre, Chicago will continue to produce some of the most exciting work in the country this summer. Offerings from the city's more than 250 producing theaters feature everything from the latest musicals to highly anticipated world premieres.   

A limited edition two LP yellow vinyl set of the original Broadway cast recording of COME FROM AWAY will be released on Friday, May 31. The vinyl will be available exclusively online and in store at Barnes and Noble. The vinyl lacquers were cut by Clint Holley at Well Made Music and the records were pressed at Memphis Record Pressing. David Lai, Ian Eisendrath, August Eriksmoen, Irene Sankoff and David Hein serve as album producers.

COME FROM AWAY is an uplifting story about strangers coming together and helping one another during extreme time of need. Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce that individual tickets for the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a new musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 31. COME FROM AWAY will make its Chicago debut at Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited engagement July 30 through August 18, 2019.

ArtsEmerson, Boston's leading presenter of contemporary world theatre, proudly announces its 10th Anniversary Season featuring five new commissioned works and five reprises from six different countries. The 2019/20 season continues ArtsEmerson's commitment to international work and to contemporary artistic forms including circus, mixed media, music theatre and first person narrative all from diverse perspectives. The landmark anniversary season will feature the world premiere of Detroit Red (produced by ArtsEmerson and written by Will Power) which uplifts Malcolm X's under-examined, life-shaping experiences as a young man who called Boston home. The Alley Theatre and Rob Melrose, new Artistic Director of the Tony Award -winning Alley Theatre, announce the cast and crew of the ExxonMobil Summer Chills production, Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, Adapted by Ken Ludwig, offering a cool escape from the sizzling summer heat. Murder on the Orient Express will be Rob Melrose's directorial debut on the Alley stage. The crime thriller runs July 19-August 25, 2019, on the Hubbard Theatre stage. The North Country Center for Arts at Jean's Playhouse is excited to present their 2019 Summer Season, which runs from June 20 through September 15, 2019, and includes three stunning musicals, and 2 hilarious plays. Last night the heaven's opened the flood gates and it rained as if a hurricane was upon us in Miami, Florida. I have never seen so many lightning bolts nor that much flooding on I-95. Although not many people braved the storm, I was proud to be among the few that came to watch the Adrienne Arsht Center and The House Theatre of Chicago's UNITED FLIGHT 232. In one word, exquisite. The storytelling was incredibly inspired. I have a brand new appreciation and love for documentary style theatre. In the intimate Carnival Studio Theatre, it was hard not to hear the very visceral response the audience was having. As tears ran down my face, I could hear the muffled sounds of crying as the remarkable cast told the true story of fatal United Flight 232. It's adapted for the stage from the critically acclaimed book, Flight 232: A Story of Disaster and Survival by Laurence Gonzales.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center is happy to announce the full line-up of its annual PEN World Voices International Play Festival. As part of the 2019 PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, the International Play Festival presents play readings with some of the most significant theatre artists from Germany. All six playwrights are part of the Gorki Theater in Berlin-a safe haven for immigrant, refugee and international theatre artists in Europe. Legendary Artistic Director of the Gorki, Shermin Langhoff will join in conversation about their work. The Festival aims to enrich awareness of global dialogues, by bridging American audiences and international theatre-makers. All readings will be followed by discussion.
