The Lyric Theatre Singers turn up the heat at Concordia University's DB Clarke Theatre with four performances of TOO DARN HOT! A Sizzling Broadway Revue, playing June 13, 14 and 15. Greenwich+Docklands International Festival (GDIF), London's leading festival of outdoor theatre and performing arts, today announces the full programme for the 2019 festival, running from 21 June - 6 July in locations across Royal Greenwich, East London and, for the first time, the City of London. Last time we had the opportunity to talk to Katie LaMark she was on tour with the 20th Anniversary production of Rent, which at the time was heading to Music City for a stand at Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The time was October, 2016, and we were immediately taken by her easy manner, her obvious charm and her appreciation for where she found herself in her career. Now she's back on-tour, playing the role of Sherrie in the 10th anniversary national tour of Rock of Ages, heading back to Nashville this weekend for a three-performance run at TPAC this Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13. And we're happy to report, she's just as great an interview as ever!

NYU Steinhardt's Program in Drama Therapy presents Turbulence, a production exploring the experiences of Black and People of Color (BPOC) in clinical settings and society at large from April 11-14. This is going to change soon as 'Come From Away,' by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, is coming to Des Moines as part of Des Moines Performing Arts 2019-2020 Willis Broadway Series. I have been following this show for a few years, watching it become the hit that it is, and couldn't wait to see it when it comes to Des Moines January 28-February 2, 2020. So this last weekend, I traveled to Omaha to see 'Come From Away.' And I was not disappointed.
