The Theater at the 14th Street Y continues to honor the edgy, diverse, and rich history of innovative culture-making in the East Village with the 201 9-20 Season from September 6, 2019 through June 2020. All productions are chosen through a submission process and the curated season is co-presented by the Theater at the 14th Street Y. From a wide range of artists the season is a deliberate program of artistic discourse around the theme of Life and Death.

Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County's theatrical icon, is proud to announce it has received a $20,000 award from The Shubert Foundation. The Shubert Foundation has awarded a record total of $30 million to 533 not-for-profit performing arts organizations across the United States since its inception. This marks the 38th consecutive year that the Foundation has increased its giving, including an additional $5,000 to Peninsula Players.

For its seventh year of offering plays by contemporary Irish playwrights to Portland audiences, Corrib Theatre announces a three-show season: Eclipsed by Patricia Burke Brogan, James X by Gerard Mannix Flynn, and Kissing the Witch by Emma Donoghue. All three 2019-20 productions will be held at New Expressive Works, 810 SE Belmont St., Portland.

The Art Directors Guild (ADG) Film Society and the American Cinematheque are co-hosting the annual 2019 Screening Series “Production Design: Designers On Design” highlighting the work of renowned Production Designers and their creative collaborations. MCP is excited to announce the cast for the final show of its 27th season 'Annie - the musical'. The production won seven Tony Awards in 1977, including Best Musical, and there have been three different film versions of the musical. The show is being directed by Josie French of Lewiston, assistant directed by Tim MacLeod of Auburn, musical direction by Colleen Mahan of Green and produced by Cindy Dunham of Windham.

Today The Point, Eastleigh announces its new wave of Associate Artists for 2019/20. The four selected artists, working across contemporary dance and theatre, will work closely with the venue from the start of April over a 12 month period of structured support.

The American Theatre Critics Association (ATCA) has selected six finalists for the Harold and Mimi Steinberg / American Theatre Critics Association 2019 New Play Award, recognizing playwrights for the best scripts that premiered professionally outside New York City during 2018.

Cherrytree Management and Live Nation have confirmed that Sting will perform at the Usana Amphitheatre in Utah on August 31 at 7:30 PM for a very special, one-night-only appearance, accompanied by the Utah Symphony. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Zion Forever Project to benefit Zion National Park as part of the Park's centennial celebration.
