Broadway Palm has announced its 29th Season which includes eight main stage productions, four productions in the Off Broadway Palm, three Children’s Theatre productions, and five concerts. Individual tickets are on sale now.

Internationally renowned jazz vocalist Tatiana Eva-Marie and legendary jazz pianist Terry Waldo have joined musical forces to create their debut collaboration album, I Double Dare You. The album, a charming collection of upbeat jazz/pop songs from the '20s and '30s, is set to release on August 6th, 2021 on Turtle Bay Records.

There is a lot to love in San Francisco Ballet’s recently unveiled Program 03 of mixed repertoire, even if it takes a bit of a dip in the middle. The program gets off to a smashing start with Alexei Ratmansky’s Symphony #9, which is part of his justly celebrated Shostakovich Trilogy. Next up is Danielle Rowe's world premiere dance film 'Wooden Dimes' set in the world of 1920's vaudeville. The program comes to a rousing close with Yuri Possokhov's 'Swimmer' an imaginative take on the John Cheever short story. Program 03 is available to stream through March 24th.

Fabulous Fanny Brice continues to bring back classic musical theatre and the Roaring 1920's with Broadway's first funny girl with new dates and times to livestream through April 2021 on STELLAR!

Fahrenheit Books and author Jason J. Marchi have announced the upcoming release of the new sci-fi fantasy short story collection, Venus Remembered by Marchi and Ray Bradbury. The book will be available on November 30, 2020 for the 100th anniversary year of the birth of Ray Bradbury.

The International Committee of The League of Professional Theatre Women (Mary Hodges and Shellen Lubin, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been championing women in the professional theatre for over three decades, will present a virtual presentation of the 2020 Gilder/Coigney International Theatre Award on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

The Roaring Twenties became the Roaring 2020s at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's annual gala last night. Amazon.com and retail establishments in Florida must have run out of Flapper dresses leading up to this exciting event as most of the women wore the traditional 1920's dresses to the gala put on by Florida's largest regional theatre.

Hailed as “a remarkably strong and diverse exploration of everything opera can be in the city (The New York Times),” the New York Opera Fest celebrates its fifth season with performances by 20+ local opera companies in all five boroughs of New York City.

Glimmerglass Film Days will offer five days of independent films, events, art, and filmmaker talks, November 7-11 in Cooperstown. 'Adaptations' is the theme of the seventh annual film festival, which will be held in multiple locations, including the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Fenimore Art Museum, and the Otesaga Hotel. A record number of 37 films will be shown.

Broadway and TV actor Frances Jue is currently starring in TheatreWorks' production of Julia Cho's 'The Language Archive.' Mr. Jue recently talked to BroadwayWorld about his lengthy and surprising career path, from his formative experiences with Stephen Sondheim and TheatreWorks to working with Tony winners David Henry Hwang and Jeanine Tesori, and of course his continuing role on the CBS television series 'Madam Secretary.' On March 1, 2019, Opera Santa Barbara presented it's first Russian opera, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's EUGENE ONEGIN. The opera was premiered in Moscow in 1879 but was not played in the United States until 1920 when the Metropolitan Opera performed it in Italian.
