A new Broadway season has arrived at last, full of exciting new shows and revivals of beloved classics. While many of them are original concepts or based on plays, 10 are already films that you can watch from home. The Hollywood Bowl was honored last night as the Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year (Red Rocks Award) at the 35th Annual Pollstar Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The current members of HEART feature Nancy Wilson (rhythm, lead and acoustic guitar, backing and lead vocals), Ann Wilson (lead vocals and flute), Ryan Wariner (lead and rhythm guitar), Ryan Waters (guitars), Paul Moak (guitars, keyboards and backing vocals), Tony Lucido (bass and backing vocals) and Sean T Lane (drums and bike).

The Queen of Versailles, currently in previews at the St. James Theatre, is based on the 2012 documentary of the same name. The show follows Jackie Siegel, played by Kristin Chenoweth on stage, from humble beginnings to success as a Florida pageant winner and eventual lavish lifestyle maven building a mansion fit for royalty with her ambitious husband. 

The performance, of course, received a standing ovation.

In the mid-seventies, Adam Ant joined the band Bazooka Joe as a bassist; they played pubs and colleges around London. On one decisive night in November 1975, Adam saw The Sex Pistols playing their first-ever show, supporting Bazooka Joe. The explosive punk band inspired Adam to start something new.
