The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell S. Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the fifteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Angela Sclafani & Benjamin Velez. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Kate Baldwin on Monday, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will present a staging of Elf Jr. a?" The Musical as a special Family Theatre Holiday Event for the upcoming Christmas season. The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's 22nd annual production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The holiday musical will run November 10 a?' December 29 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Supergrass have today announced they are reforming for a theatre tour of the UK, Europe and North America in 2020. The thirteen date tour will kick off in Paris on 4th February, before the UK leg culminates with a huge show at London's Alexandra Palace on 6th March 2020. Tickets go on sale Friday 13th September from 9:00 am.

Lincoln Center Theater, under the direction of André Bishop, has announced it will produce a new musical during its 2019-2020 season. FLYING OVER SUNSET, with a book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, will feature choreography by Michelle Dorrance, and will begin previews March 12, 2020 and open on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton and Tony Yazbeck will head the cast with additional casting to be announced at a later date.
