Los Angeles alternative rock band Grizfolk announce their new full-length album Rarest Of Birds will be released on July 19th, 2019. The foursome will celebrate with a hometown album release show at The Troubadour that evening, followed by a west coast run of headline tour dates that takes them through Phoenix, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and more(full list below).  With this news, Grizfolk shares album track “Mercy,” a song the band says was “born on August 12, 2017. It's a cry out for peace, a voice for the voiceless.”  The track premiered via FLOOD.

Troupe today announces full cast for the The Sweet Science of Bruising by Joy Wilkinson which transfers to Wilton's Music Hall, following its sold-out run at Southwark Playhouse last year. The production opens at Wilton's Music Hall on 7 June, with previews from 5 June, and runs until 29 June.

For the first time ever, Utah Symphony is going for the birds next season featuring feathered and four-legged guest artists joining the orchestra on stage at Abravanel Hall during several special animal-themed Masterworks performances.

This spring, Music Director Thierry Fischer and the Utah Symphony continue their Saint-Saëns recording cycle on Hyperion Records with Volume 2, comprising Symphony No. 2 in A minor, the Symphony in F major (“Urbs Roma”), and Danse macabre, featuring concertmaster Madeline Adkins. Launched to critical acclaim last winter, the three-volume set will be the first complete, commercial recording of Saint-Saëns's five symphonies by an American orchestra, as well as the orchestra's first recording project with independent British label Hyperion. Volume 2 is included among the label's May 2019 releases and is available digitally and in the UK on Friday, April 26 and in North America on Friday, May 3.
