Amidst the flickering candlelight and foggy mist, the RT players will once again present LIVE ON STAGE a challenging repertory of the greatest of terrifying stories penned by the Master of The Macabre, Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) who once lived but a few blocks away and attended this very church.

Back by popular demand, singer, songwriter and activist Noel Paul Stookey, a four-time Grammy Award-winner, returns to his "home theatre" for two concerts, Sunday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. (just added). Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary in Concert.

Three years ago, English National Ballet presented an evening of work all by female choreographers, She Said. It was an uneven programme but a brave artistic choice, and those courageous female voices are finally fully realised in the sequel, She Persisted.

Sarasota Youth Opera's annual Summer Camp engages young people in the magic of opera with sessions in singing, acting, props, wigs, make-up, and costumes, all led by professional singers, artists, directors, musicians, and technicians. Summer Camp sessions will take place from 10am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, between June 10-28, with an option of one, two, or three week sessions, at the Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple, Sarasota, FL 34236. Tuition is based on age and session, with options for pre and post care available. Tuition assistance is also available.

For the first time ever, Utah Symphony is going for the birds next season featuring feathered and four-legged guest artists joining the orchestra on stage at Abravanel Hall during several special animal-themed Masterworks performances.

This spring, Music Director Thierry Fischer and the Utah Symphony continue their Saint-Saëns recording cycle on Hyperion Records with Volume 2, comprising Symphony No. 2 in A minor, the Symphony in F major (“Urbs Roma”), and Danse macabre, featuring concertmaster Madeline Adkins. Launched to critical acclaim last winter, the three-volume set will be the first complete, commercial recording of Saint-Saëns's five symphonies by an American orchestra, as well as the orchestra's first recording project with independent British label Hyperion. Volume 2 is included among the label's May 2019 releases and is available digitally and in the UK on Friday, April 26 and in North America on Friday, May 3. Dove Cameron will make her LA Opera debut in The Light in the Piazza, running from October 12 through 20, 2019, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. She will play the role of Clara Johnson, a young woman with a long-hidden secret that threatens her hopes of finding true love during a summer vacation through Italy. Opera superstar Renee Fleming will portray her mother, Margaret Johnson.

It was announced today (Friday 15 March 2019) that renowned stage, film and TV performer Peter Polycarpou will play Don Quixote's squire, Sancho Panza in Man of the Mancha at the London Coliseum; the first West End production of this multi-Tony award-winning Broadway musical for 50 years.

Petula Clark and Joseph Millson will join the Company to play the Bird Woman and George Banks in the new production of Mary Poppins, which returns to its original West End home at the Prince Edward Theatre from 23 October 2019. The Onassis Foundation USA has appointed Vallejo Gantner as its new Artistic and Executive Director. New York Live Arts (Live Arts) to present the New York premiere of Netta Yerushalmy's Paramodernities, March 14-17, 2019, having commissioned the work as part of the Live Feed Residency Program. The complete six-part encyclopedic series is a multidisciplinary work that weaves theory and performance into a four-hour-long hybrid event. Yerushalmy and a cast of 20 dancers and scholars, ranging in age from 20 to 68, perform deconstructed installments of Nijinsky's “Sacre” (1913), Graham's “Night Journey” (1947), Ailey's “Revelations” (1960), a mix of Cunningham works “Rainforest,” “Sounddance”, “Points in Space”, “Beach Birds”,  and “Ocean” (1968-1990), dance numbers from the 1969 Fosse's film “Sweet Charity”, and a response to Balanchine's “Agon” (1957) that includes none of the original choreography.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.
