Playhouse on Parka??s 12th Main Stage Season will open with KENNEDY: BOBBYa??S LAST CRUSADE by David Arrow. The play was produced and filmed at the Theatre at St. Clements in NYC for Playhouse on Park audiences. The film of the play will be available to stream at home between September 16 - October 4 for $20.

On Thursday, October 1 (rain date: Oct. 4), Playhouse on Park is bringing the filmed play KENNEDY: BOBBY'S LAST CRUSADE to Edmond Town Hall for The Ingersoll Auto Pop-Up Drive-In. The film will start at 7:30pm (gates open at 7pm). $20 per car. Edmond Town Hall is located at 45 Main St. Newtown, CT 06470.

Marcus Performing Arts Center will present Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience on Saturday, January 25 at 7:30 pm in Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall. Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience is the nation's most innovative and unique show utilizing the works of the Beatles. This amazing group, anchored by brothers Billy and Matthew McGuigan, does away with the worn out a?oetributea?? format of bad wigs and fake accents. Instead, they perform as themselves and leave the song choices completely up to you! The set list is created five minutes before the show, based upon the songs chosen by your audience! When the lockdown started in mid March, theatres all over the country were forced to shut down in a hurry. Nina Dunn, video designer with credits spread all over the West End and Europe, has been documenting the struggle of the industry through chilling photographs of empty theatres where silence dominates. A fundraiser has accompanied her online photo essays, which are now being turned into a book whose proceeds will go straight to charity. We had a chat to discuss her project, the effects of the closures, and dark theatres.

Claudio Monteverdi's L`Orfeo the world's very first Opera can be seen as one if not the most important work in classic history. Orpheus myth is brought to live by Monteverdi's phenomenal creation. L`Orfeo is based on the Greek legend of Orpheus and tells the story of his descent to Hades and his futile attempts to bring his dead bride Eurydice back to life.
