Samuel Slater’s Restaurant will bring a little bit of Memphis to Webster when they host a special party in honor of Elvis Presley’s 87th Birthday. New England’s premier Elvis Presley tribute act Fellowship of the King (FoTK) will perform at Samuel Slater’s Hall at Indian Ranch Saturday, January 8, 2022.

This year’s award-winning production, which continues performances through until Monday 23rd December, has already been seen by 112,000 visitors from all over the world (including guests from as far as Texas) who have flocked to the tiny Norfolk village for this annual festive treat.

Tonight, NBC will air its sixth live musical production. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, the ragtime concert scheduled for Saturday, August 14th at 7 p.m. featuring Terry Waldo and his Gotham City Band, will be free.

'I haven't sung in three years!' said Liza Minnelli to an adoring crowd at Feinstein's at Vitello's. The living legend stopped by the famed LA supperclub last week, where she performed on stage with Michael Feinstein himself. Watch below as she sings the Gershwin classic- 'Embraceable You.'

The film will reportedly begin following the death of Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland. It will then follow Minnelli on her rise to fame, beginning in the 1970s, and chronicling her various accolades, including an Oscar for best actress (Cabaret), an Emmy for best TV special (Liza with a Z), and a Tony for best actress in a musical (The Act).

Abdul Shayek was announced last year as the new artistic director and joint CEO of Tara Theatre (formerly Tara Arts), the British Asian company founded in 1977 in direct response to a racist attack on a Sikh teenager. Based in southwest London, Tara Theatre is the only building-based South Asian theatre company in the UK and is marking its new directorship with an ambitious and provocative new season as outlined by Shayek below.

Originally produced in 1977, the play catalogs the common acting adventures and technical mishaps that continue to age well: incidents and anecdotes on and off the stage that only seasoned thespians can truly appreciate. Nevertheless, it serves audiences a healthy dollop of good-natured laughs, thanks to the versatile delivery of two actors fit to embrace Mamet's brisk pace and not-too-subtle snides.

In a further homage to Iggy, the B-side features The Lovely Eggs own take on ‘Dum Dum Boys’ from Iggy’s defining 1977 album ‘The Idiot’.
